7.0 USER CALIBRATION

The EEWB330B Balancer features a User Calibration
which requires only a few minutes to complete. The
operator can electronically calibrate the rotating masses
on the machine; which is called User Calibration.
Perform this procedure when the balancer has been
moved, disturbed, or whenever accuracy is questioned.
If the calibration process fails a service technician must
be called to perform a complete calibration.
A calibration run requires little more time than a regu-
lar balance run.

Procedure;
— Balance a wheel (15" x 6,5"), as a NORMAL weight
— Press the "MODE" key and the "FINE" key together
The initial display reads "C 14", See Figure 30b.
— Press "ENTER" once to initiate procedure.
The display shows "CAL 1". See Figure 30c.
— Remove any cones or adapters from the shaft. See

— Mount the User Calibration Weight, refer to Figure

The User Calibration was performed correctly.
Any (operator) error causes the program to exit. Un-
screw the Calibration weight from the fl ange and put it
back in its designated place for safe keeping.
