before the definitive drilling of the holes.

You may have to replace the adapter ring (included in
the kit) around the sensor in order to obtain the required
inclination in the range of +/- 5° after installation on the
vehicle bumper�

On metal bumpers, you must sometimes add insulating
rings around the sensors to fit them on the bumper, in
order to avoid sensor vibration�

Self diagnosis
Valeo beep&park
system is equipped with a self-
®
diagnosis of sensors.
1.
When the engine is switched on, the system tests the
4 front sensors automatically�
2.
When the reverse gear is selected, the system
automatically tests the 4 rear sensors�
3.
If all of the sensors are working, the system beeps
once�
4.
If there is a problem with any of the sensors, the
system beeps 3 times�
5.
The position and number of faulty sensors is displayed
on the screen� E1 means that 1 sensor is not working
properly, E2 : 2 sensors, E3 : 3 sensors, E4 : 4 sensors�
Screen flashing allows defect sensor identification.
6.
Check that sensors are properly fitted.
7.
In case of crash, you can replace the concerned
