or injuries.

1. Filter maintenance

To maintain the product's suction power, frequently
remove any attached dust from the dust fi lter, prefi lter,
cloth fi lter or fi lter damper. (Fig. 9)
(1) Gently tap by hand to remove dust from the prefi lter,
cloth fi lter and fi lter damper. Using compressed air will
make the task easier.
(2) For the dust fi lter, use a brush or compressed air to
clean.
Regularly wash off any dust from the dust fi lter with
water once every month or two months.
After washing the fi lter, suffi ciently dry it in the shade
and use the fi lter once again.
NOTE
○ Even if the prefi lter is clogged, gently tap it to clear
away dust.
Scrubbing it with a brush or other tool will only shorten
its lifespan.
○ Do not infl ict impact on the dust fi lter.
Doing so may crack the resin portion of the fi lter.
2. Inspecting the mounting screws
Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that
they are properly tightened. Should any of the screws
be loose, retighten them immediately. Failure to do so
could result in serious hazard.
3. Maintenance of the motor
The motor unit winding is the very "heart" of the power
tool.
Exercise due care to ensure the winding does not
become damaged and/or wet with oil or water.
4. Inspection of terminals (tool and battery)
Check to make sure that swarf and dust have not
collected on the terminals.
On occasion check prior, during and after operation.
