NORMAL
A.
NORMAL CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instruments here. These
two inputs provide sweetened vintage frequency response as
per the popular "bright cap removal" modification. Normal input
1 produces full sensitivity; Normal input 2 has lower sensitivity
(-6dB) for cleaner response with high-output and pre-amplified
instruments.
B.
NORMAL CHANNEL VOLUME: Controls volume level of the
normal channel.
C.
NORMAL CHANNEL TREBLE AND BASS: Controls respective high-
frequency and low-frequency signal levels of the normal channel.
D.
BRIGHT CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instruments here. These
two inputs access traditional 1960s "Blackface" tone circuitry,
which accentuates high-mid and treble frequencies. Bright input
1 produces full sensitivity; Bright input 2 has lower sensitivity
(-6dB) for cleaner response with high-output and pre-amplified
instruments.
E.
BRIGHT CHANNEL VOLUME: Controls volume level of the
