Pump feature
After extended periods of non-use, it is advisable to remove the water from the system.
Proceed as follows:
(The pump feature can be used with the door of the appliance open.)
- Remove the water container from the appliance.
- Press °C and
steam heating plate.
- Remove the water from the plate using a suitable cloth.
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has
cooled down completely.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with water and do not
immerse it in water.
Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
- The outer surfaces of the appliance may be wiped with a clean damp cloth, adding some
mild detergent if necessary. Wipe thoroughly dry afterwards with a soft cloth.
- The interior of the appliance should be wiped with a dry cloth after each cycle of use or,
if necessary, thoroughly cleaned. To facilitate cleaning, the lower heating element can be
raised; ensure it is brought back to its operating position afterwards.
- The steam heating plate can be cleaned using a vinegar/water solution: pour a little of
the solution onto the plate and allow some time for it to take effect. Wipe the plate with
clean, fresh water and finish by thoroughly wiping it dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not use any steam-cleaning devices.
- The door seals should be cleaned on a regular basis with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Ensure the seals are thoroughly wiped dry afterwards.
- The racks, grid and tray should be cleaned with soapy water after use.
- We recommend cleaning the control panel with the glass door open: this will prevent the
appliance from being inadvertently activated. Wipe the panel with a soft, dry cloth
