MAINTENANCE
Before performing any maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Regular maintenance is required for the insert to function correctly.
LACK OF MAINTENANCE will prevent the insert from functioning properly.
Any problems resulting from lack of maintenance will immediately void the warranty.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
Operations must be performed when the stove is off, cold and unplugged from the power supply
Must be performed using a vacuum cleaner (see optional extras page 39).
The whole procedure takes up a few minutes every day.
- Vacuum the hatch, the fi re surface, and the compartment around the combustion chamber where the ash falls.
• DO NOT EMPTY THE RESIDUE OUT INTO THE PELLET HOPPER.
- Remove the combustion chamber and use the metal spatula supplied to scrape off any waste. Clean out any blocked holes on both sides.
- Vacuum the combustion chamber, clean the contacts between the chamber and its housing, replace the combustion chamber.
- Clean the glass, if necessary (when cold).
Never vacuum hot ash, it can make the vacuum cleaner breakdown and puts the household rooms at risk of fi re
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
- Clean the hearth and the chamber under the hearth (1) (fi g. no.1).
- Remove and clean the ceiling (2) (fi g. no.2).

SEASONAL MAINTENANCE (IMPLEMENTED BY THE DEALER)
After consumption of 1000 kg of pellets (modifi able by the Dealer during 1st ignition), the wording 'maintenance' will appear,
entailing the following:
- Clean generally inside and out
- Clean/ exchange pipe carefully
- Clean and remove dirt from combustion chamber
and relative compartment carefully
- Clean the smoke outlet "A"
(replace smoke outlet pipe gaskets if necessary).
- Clean smoke extraction fan compartment,
fl ow sensor and thermo coupling control "C".
- Clean, inspect and scrape residues from the
ignition resistance compartment, replace if
necessary "D".

- Visual inspection of electrical wires, connections
and power lead
- Clean the pellet tank, removing the fl ange and

verify feed screw-gear motor assembly clearances
- Replace hatch seal if required
- Test function, cochlea load, ignition and function

for 10 minutes, then shutdown.
If the insert is used very frequently, the smoke
duct should be cleaned once every 3 months.
