Attention
Drilling through vehicle bars and sheet
metal poses an increased risk of injury
on sharp edges and rims! Ensure that
cables, lines or liquid containers remain
undamaged!
Apply corrosion protection in accordance
with manufacturer specifications!
We recommend Würth Cavity Protection
Art. 0893081.
Remove chippings, shavings, etc.!
The lateral attachment should be
planned as high as possible and
applied to the vertical or horizontal
reinforcement posts of the chassis.
Before drilling, we recommend
indicating the position of the sheet on
the vehicle panel.
• First mark the position of the sheet on the
vehicle panel.
• Then drill the 4.1 mm holes for the blind rivets
and 9.5 mm holes for the screw.
• Rivet the plate and connect the vehicle equip-
ment by screwing it to the brackets.
Alternatively, you can use the external
washer and M8 nut instead of the
attachment plate and nut. This is fixed
to the vehicle panel with two blind
rivets.
Side panel attachment on closed vehicle
bars [Fig.VI]
This type of attachment should only be used if there
is no other choice.
In this version, the screw connection must be
additionally secured (Würth's high-strength screw
retention, Art. 893 270 025).
To guarantee sufficient force, ensure
that these are not canted. The collar
must be flush with the edges of the
boreholes.
Correct force transmission may
otherwise not be guaranteed.
Final assembly and inspection
Assembling drawers and boot modules
Reinsert drawers in reverse sequence to disas-
sembly.
• First hook in the guide rails.
• Mount the drawer
• Screw the handle to the guide rails
While inserting the screws, ensure that
the handle is pushed upwards.
• Attach plastic caps.
• Drawer module:
Lateral attachment of the plastic cap
• Suitcase trays:
Attachment of the plastic cap
Assembly of a roll-front cabinet
Engage lateral plastic rail on left and right side.
Insert the roll-front through the recesses into the
guides.
Close the recesses with the plugs provided.
Insert the partition plate
Insert the anti-slip mat (if one is intended for the
component).
Firmly press the fixating elements into the com-
ponent's rear perforated grid.
• While engaging the fixating elements, ensure
that the top nib is inserted first.
Insert the partition plate into the fixating ele-
ment.
Rotate the partition plate to press both ends into
the opposite perforated grid position.
Check the attachment points and the
faultless function of the vehicle
equipment. We recommend six-monthly
inspections.
