The mains lead must not come into contact with hot parts or be
pulled across sharp edges. Never immerse the appliance in water
or place it in the dishwasher. Do not use the appliance near a sink
filled with water! Do not use the appliance with damp hands and
do not operate at no load. After each use, whenever the appliance
is unsupervised, prior to assembly, prior to disassembly, prior to
cleaning and in the event of an error, the appliance must always be
disconnected from the mains. Before replacing accessories or addi-
tional parts, which move during operation, switch off the appliance
and disconnect from the power supply.

Risk of injury
The blade is very sharp. Keep hands clear of the blade. After switch-
ing off, the drive continues for a short time. Wait for the blade to
come to a standstill! After work, set cutting width to 0. This appliance
must be used with the sliding feed table and the piece holder in
position unless this is not possible due to the size or shape of the
food.
Before cleaning the appliance, pull out the mains plug and remove
the blade. Do not grip the blade by the cutting surface, but by the
blade attachment. If the power supply is interrupted, the appliance
remains switched ON and will start running again when the power
supply is restored.
W Caution
Motor may overheat! After a maximum 10 minutes of continuous
use, switch OFF the appliance and allow to cool down.
