Minimum distance from rear wall
S Use the screws to attach the spacers
provided to the relevant openings at
the rear of the appliance.
This will maintain the minimum dis
tance of 30 mm from the wall, therefore
providing adequate ventilation.
Unscrewing the doors
If the appliance will not fit through the
house door, the appliance doors can
be unscrewed.
Caution:
Should it be necessary to remove the
doors, this must only be carried out by
our after sales service. Your local after
sales service will quote you a price for
removing the doors.

Connecting the appliance
to the water supply
The water may be connected only by a
competent fitter according to the local
regulations of the appropriate water
supply company.
Connect the appliance to a cold water
line.
- Minimum pressure: 0.1 Mpa (1.0 bar)
- Maximum pressure during operation
without a water filter: 1.0 Mpa
(10.0 bar)
Depending on the local conditions, it
may be necessary to install a pressure
reducer in the water line.
The tap ¾" for connection of the en
closed line should be freely accessible.
The enclosed connection line is 5 m
long.
Taste and odour of the water may be
improved by installing the enclosed
water filter. If this is the case, observe
the different connection requirements
see Water filter.
Connection
S Connect the line to the solenoid
valve.
S Connect the line to the tap.
S Using the enclosed clips, attach the
connecting line to the rear panel of
the appliance and to the room wall.
S Place the connecting line in loops or
coils so that the appliance can be
moved away from the wall.
Checking the water
connection for leaks
S Switch on the appliance according to
the enclosed operating instructions.
S Remove water according to the
operating instructions. This will last
several seconds as there is still air in
the lines and water tank.
S Check all screw on water connec
tions for leaks on the appliance and
on the water connection.
S After checking for leaks, pull out
the mains plug again and attach the
motor compartment cover.
