Always remove the battery before carrying out any work on the power tool.
Condition
Power tool cuts out during operation
Running time is too short

Cause
Battery or power tool circuitry too hot
Electric or electromagnetic interference Remove the battery and refit it again
Thermal overload cutout has tripped –
sweeping pressure set too high
Thermal overload cutout has tripped –
side broom or roller brush blocked
Battery is not fully charged
Useful life of battery has been reached
or exceeded
Height setting is too low – side broom
contact pressure is too high.
Remedy
Take the battery out of the power tool;
allow the battery and power tool to cool
down
Set sweeping pressure to suit surface
being cleaned
Wait about 30 seconds for overload cut-
out to cool down.
Remove blockage.
Wait about 30 seconds for overload cut-
out to cool down. If roller brush is
blocked, press switch to reset overload
cutout.
Charge the battery

Check battery and replace
Adjust height to suit the surface being
cleaned.
