been developed to permit the joint sawing very soon
after floor finishing, sometimes within 0 to 2 hours...if the
cut is sawn within a few hours after the final finishing,
random cracking can be controlled..."
Husqvarna has the only Ultra Early Entry dry-cutting
system (Soff-Cut) which controls random cracking
through the early timing of the cut. With the patented
Soff-Cut method, control joints are usually cut within 2
hours after the finishing process.
Joint cutting should begin as soon as the concrete will
support the weight of the saw and the operator at each
joint location and before final set.
If the joints are not being cut within this time frame then
the Soff-Cut Ultra Early Entry method is not being
followed.

Before you operate the product

1. Do daily maintenance. Refer to
schedule on page 14 .
2. Make sure that the handle is in full upright position
and that the locking pin is installed.
3. Make sure that the front guide is turned to the
forward position.
4. Fill the oil tank. Refer to
for information about recommended engine oil.
5. Do a check of the oil level. Refer to
the oil level on page 15 .

To fill fuel

Use unleaded gasoline with octane number not less
than 90 RON (87 AKI).
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline with an
octane number less than 90 RON (87 AKI).
This can cause damage to the product.
CAUTION: Do not use unleaded gasoline
with more than 10% ethanol. This can cause
starting and performance problems.
Gasoline with more than 10% ethanol can
also damage metal, rubber, and plastic parts
of the fuel system, and pose a fire hazard.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline that
contains methanol.
CAUTION: Do not use fuel that is older than
30 days. Old fuel can cause running
problems and damage to the fuel system.

To do a check of
1. Remove the product from the transportation vehicle
and put it on the ground. If this is not possible, refuel
the product with a portable container and not from a
gasoline dispenser nozzle.
WARNING: Use only approved gasoline
containers. Do not fill containers inside a
vehicle. Put the container on the ground
away from your vehicle.
2. Open the fuel tank cap slowly to release the
pressure.
3. Make sure that the nozzle touches the rim of the fuel
tank or container opening at all times until fuelling is
complete. Do not use a nozzle lock-open device.
4. Clean the area around the fuel tank cap.
5. Tighten the fuel tank cap fully. If the fuel tank cap is
not tightened, there is a risk of fire.
6. Move the product a minimum of 3 m (10 ft) from the
position where you filled the tank before a start.

To start the engine

1. Raise the blade by pushing down on the handle bar
with both hands to the full and locked position.
2. Turn the switch to the ON position (I) to start the
engine. It the ON position the fuel valve is also open.
The blade starts to rotate when the engine is turned
on.
3. Move the speed lever ⅓ of the way to the open
position.
