To replace the oil in the gearbox

1. Remove the oil drain plug.
2. Let the gearbox oil run out into a container.
CAUTION: Discard used oil at an
applicable disposal location.
• Keep the product in a locked area to prevent access
for children or persons that are not approved.
• Keep the product in a dry and frost free area.
• Remove the drill bit before transportation or storage
of the product. This is to prevent damage to the
product and the drill bits.
• Safety the product during transportation to prevent
damage and accidents.

3. If it is necessary, let an approved Husqvarna service
center clean the gearbox.
4. Fill with new gearbox oil. Refer to
quantity and oil type.
5. Clean the oil drain plug. The oil drain plug has a
magnet that catches metal particles.
6. Install the oil drain plug.

To examine the water connection

CAUTION: If there is a leakage of water
from the water connection ring, the shaft
seals must be replaced immediately.
• Let an approved Husqvarna service center repair the
water connection.
