• Do not use the mattress system in the
immediate vicinity of heat sources.
• Do not use the mattress system in the
immediate vicinity of inflammable gases or in
areas where there is a risk of explosion.
• Never block the air openings of this product or
place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or
couch, where the openings may be blocked,
keep the air opening free of lint, hair, and other
similar particles.
• Keep the tubing free from kinks.
• Never drop or insert any object into any
opening or hose.
• Connect this product to a properly grounded
outlet only and check the main voltage is
correct.
• Do not use outdoors or operates where
aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not use the mattress system in an
uninflated state.
• Remove the plug when moving the bed.
• Only pull on the plug and not on the cable.
• Keep sharp objects away from the mattress.
• Do not use unsuitable methods to fix the
overlay mattress.
• Use
only genuine
expendables.
• Check the specified minimum clearance for the
mattress when using side rails. Eventually use
a height extension for the side rail.
• The max. user weight of the product is
MAT-X1: 125 kg, MAT-X2: 150 kg, MAT-X3:
130 kg
• Only allow repairs by the manufacturer or an
authorized dealer.
• Take note of the instructions for care and
service. The manufacturer is not liable for
damage caused by improper servicing/care.

12. EMC

Disruption of electrical equipment from
electromagnetic fields in the surroundings can
not be entirely avoided. Possible consequences
are:
In the presence of very strong or long-lasting
disruptive fields, the electrical systems might break
down completely and suffer permanent damage.
Possible sources of radiation include:
• Portable receiver and transmission
devices (receiver and transmitter with fixed
antennae)
- Walkie-talkies, cell phones or cordless
telephones
- portable TV, radio and navigation devices
- other personal broadcast devices

• Mobile medium-range transmitting and receiving
devices (external car antennas)
- Fixed transmitting and receiving sets
- Hands-free mobile speaking devices (fixed
installation)
- Fixed radio, TV and navigation systems
• Other home appliances
- CD player
- Laptop
- Microwave oven
- Cassette recorder
- etc.
Devices such as electric shavers and hair dryers
should have no influence. However they need to
function properly and have proper wiring regardless
of their influence. Please read the appropriate
instruction manual from the relevant manufacturer.
To reduce the effect of electromagnetic sources of
interference, please read the following warnings:

surroundings - Guidelines
The mattress uses HF energy
exclusively for its internal
function. Therefore its HF
radiation is very low and it is
unlikely that neighboring
electronic devices will be
disrupted.
The mattress is suitable for use
in all facilities which are solely
used as living areas and which
have an immediate connection
to the public power supply,
which also supplies the building
which is being used as living
quarters.
