4. Use/Operators

4.1 Proper use

The linear unit must be used exclusively for a linear process and positioning of workpieces, units,
measuring devices or for other comparable setting tasks in industrial plants.
Catalogue information, the contents of these installation instructions and the conditions laid
down in the order are to be taken into account.
The values given in these installation instructions are maximum values and must not be exceeded.
Any use beyond this is termed as non-intended. If the linear unit is used improperly, then RK Ro-
se+Krieger GmbH ceases to be liable and the general operating licence of this linear unit will be
void.

4.2 Who can use, install and operate this linear unit

Individuals who have read and understood the installation instructions completely can use, install
and operate this linear unit. Responsibilities for handling this linear unit must be clearly laid down
and obeyed.
