To deactivate this function, you must perform the same operation with the boiler in a cold temperature and
viewing the main screen, you must disconnect (wait 30 seconds) and plug again the boiler.
2.
TURN ON.
In order to turn your ECOFOREST on for the first time or after a reset, follow those steps:
Important note: While turning on the boiler for the first time, open the windows because while heating,
there may be a strong paint smell – we recommend to turn it on first in your installer's premises.
If at first start-up, the strove takes more than 15min to turn on, the message "lack of pellets or motor
obstructed" might appear. This message can be normal at first start-up as the endless motor's screw defused, you
just have to get out this message by pressing the MENU (

Before start-up, check the level of the hopper (it may contain few pellets or no pellets at all).

When ECOFOREST is displayed on the top and time and date on the bottom, it is possible to turn the start the

At this stage, you have a total control over the boiler, that is, the pellets drop can be adapted according to
your need.
2.4.
If the boiler is out of electric power during the start-up process, when the boiler gets connected to power
again, the boiler will make a new check-up and go through the start-up process again.

In order to increase the level of pellets drop, press the increase button (

In the same way, so as to decrease it, press the decrease button (
NOTE: The boiler automatically increases the pellets drop level when detecting no temperature at the gas
outlet. This security system is more frequently activated when the boiler is new and has been designed to
avoid condensation in the gas outlet pipeline.
If the boiler's temperature goes under 100°C (minimum temperature setting) in the gas outlet, i twill
automatically get the temperature it has before this temperature cut; if you request a higher temperature,
this level will increase until reaching the required temperature in the gas outlet in order to avoid
condensation in the pipeline as well as unexpected stops (the boiler stops if the temperature of the gas
outlet goes under 80°C).

TURNING THE BOILER OFF.
If you wish to stop the boiler manually, press the stop button (
displayed:
), the following sequence appears:
The boiler is turning on, the extractor automatically gets to the suitable power
level and pellets start to fall as the boiler as been designed to at manufacture,
the start-up resistance (start-up electrode) starts to heat.
Once gas outlet reaches a temperature difference of 20 °C, the boiler will

disconnect the start-up resistance and go through an automatic pre-

heating sequence.
When pre-heating is achieved, the screen on the left displays LEVEL 5 which
shows pellets drop; the dashes ( _ _ _ ) indicate the chronothermostat,
thermostat and stand-by are disabled, then the temperature, time and actual

date appear as well as "1,2 o 3" alternated with the asterisk(). The number

indicates the boiler is operating in air mode (see point 8 paragraph 1-7a), the
