Personal safety
Always keep your hands and body away from the blade and the cutting area.
Do not reach underneath the work piece while cutting.
Hold saw with both hands on the handle and auxiliary handle.
Never hold the work piece in your hands or across your leg while cutting.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry and contain long hair because it can be caught in
moving parts.
Stay alert and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use tool when tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. It may result in serious injury.
Keep your body positioned to either side of the saw blade, never in line with the saw blade.
A kickback of the saw could cause serious injury.
Disconnect the tool from the power source before making any adjustments, changing
accessories or storing it.
Avoid accidental starting. Be sure the tool is switched off before plugging it in.
Always remove adjusting keys from the tool before switching it on.
Always wear eye protection and a hard hat.
Wear non-skid safety shoes.
