Inserting and replacing the battery
of the call-pushbutton
In order to be able to insert the coin cell
battery (type CR 2032) you first have to open
the battery compartment.
a) Remove the transparent front by lifting
it off its clip on one side of the housing
(fig. 3 A). If necessary, use a small flat-
sided screwdriver to assist.

b) Now it should be possible to unhook the
front from the the other side of the hou-
sing for removal.
c) You can now open the small screw (fig. 3 B)
using a small Phillips screwdriver and
remove the front of the doorbell pushbut-
ton behind which there is the PCB with
the battery.
d) Insert the battery (coin cell CR 2032) into
the plastic support on the PCB (fig. 4 D).

e) If you would like to replace a battery, re-
move the old one with a small flat screw-

driver from its plastic support by lifting
the edge slightly (fig. 4 E). Afterwards
you can insert a new battery. Please
ensure correct polarity of the battery.
f) Insert the front face into the housing of
the call-pushbutton and press both firm-
ly together until the housing parts lock in
place. Please make sure that the rubber
gasket sits correctly within the housing.
g) Carefully drive in the small screw (fig. 1 B)
with a small Phillips screwdriver.
h) Hook the transparent plastic front onto
the clip of one side, then press the other
side down until the front completely
locks onto the housing.

5. Inserting the batteries into the
»signolux« receiver
a) At the rear side there is a battery com-
partment the cover of which can care-
fully be pushed downwards so that the
compartment opens ( fig. 5).

b) Now insert 4 alkaline batteries type LR14
(also called C batteries, included in the
delivery scope). Ensure correct polarity
of the batteries.
c) Close again the battery cover by care-
fully inserting the cover and pushing it
upwards.
