Intended use

With Miele washer-disinfectors, cleaning processes can be docu-
mented. To enable this, Miele washer-disinfectors are equipped with
a module slot on the back to take a Miele communication module.
The XKM 3000 L Med communication module enables the installation
of an Ethernet interface.
For connection to a WiFi network, the Miele communication module
can be connected to a wireless access point provided by you, using a
cable.
Only use terminal devices (PCs etc.) which are approved according to
EN/IEC 60950.
For more information on suitable software for process documentation
please contact Miele.
Configuration of the interface must only be carried out by suitably
qualified and competent personnel.

The communication module is generally referred to as the module in
these Operating instructions.
