Before connecting the tool to a power source
(receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure that the volt-
age supplied is the same as that one specified
on the nameplate of the tool. To use a not
specified voltage may cause a serious injury to
the user as well as damage the tool.
IMPORTANT: This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including children) with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities

TOOL USE AND CARE

Do not force the power tool. Use the correct

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR
PENDULUM JIG SAWS
• When fitting and changing saw blades,
always follow this manual instructions.
• Use clamps or a vice to hold your work if pos-
sible.
• Make sure the switch is off before you plug in.
• Do not overreach, be sure of your footing
and balance at all times specially in ladders
and staging.
• Only use blades in perfect condition.
• Keep the shoe flat on the work piece.
• Do not put under pressure on the saw, such
that in it slows down.
• Always switch off before you put the jig saw
down.
• Disconnect the saw when not using it, before
cleaning and when changing saw blades.
• The unit should only be used as a hand held
tool and must never be foxed on an inverted
position for use as a saw bench unless with an
approved accessory.
DOUBLE INSULATION
Your jig saw is double insulated. This means
that two independent barriers of insulation
protect you from contacting live parts thus giv-
ing further protection against the possibility of
electric shock.
