Troubleshooting of Minor Faults
If repairs are necessary, and you
cannot eliminate the fault yourself with
the aid of the following table:
Turn the program selector to Off.
Disconnect the washing machine
from the power outlet.
Turn off the water taps.
Call Customer Service
(refer to Page 23).

Thedoor cannotbe "Nofinal spin" selected.

Spinning is alreadyin progress;duringspin cyclethe
speedcannotbe changed.
Program selector is set to drain; spin cycle is not
possible with this program.
Watertap(s)notturnedon.
Action
SelectDrain or Spin.
An interrupted programwill be resumedwhenpoweris
restored.If the laundryis to be removed during a power
failure,call Customer Service
(referto Page23).
Wait untilthe programends;see Page18.
Eliminate the cause.
Selecta program.
See "Adda garment/Interrupting the program",Page18.
Replace the fuse of the individual c ircuit.
CallCustomer Service if this fault recurs.
An interrupted programwill be resumedwhenpoweris
restored.If the laundryis to be removed during a power
failure,call Customer Service
(referto Page23).
Pressthe Start/Pause button.
Checkwhetherlaundryis trappedin door.
Closethe door(a click shouldbe heard).
Programcontinues.
Selectspeedbeforespinning.
If required, select another program.
Supplyhosekinkedor pinched.
Strainers in supplyhoseclogged.
Waterpressure too low.
This is not a fault.
Thewater levelis belowthe visiblepartof the drum.
Suds or pump is blocked.
The thread of the supply hose is not tight,
Leak in the drain hose.
Turnon watertap(s)and pressStart/Pause button.
Programcontinues.
Eliminate the cause.
Cleanthe water inletstrainers;seePage19.
Eliminate the cause.
Use less detergent for future wash loads, Detergents
specifically designedfor you High Efficientcy washer
produce fewer suds and will include the letters "HE"
on the packaging, Clean the water drainage pipe
and/or drain hose, Turn the program selector to "off"
and restart Brain program.
Tighten the thread.
Replacethe drain hose.
