Cleaning the filter plate in the water intake

There is a filter plate in the water inlet pipe in front of the double
connections for shafted instruments.
This prevents soiling from other disciplines from being deposited in
the lumen of instruments.
 The filter plate must be cleaned before every programme.
Unscrew the nut on the clip around the holder for the filter plate and

open the clip.
Pull the right side of the water inlet pipe out to the side.

Remove the filter plate.

Remove deposits and soiling from the filter plate with running water,

using a brush if necessary.
Blow the filter plate from the back with compressed air against the

direction of flow.
