3. To Reinstall Blade (Fig. 10A, 10B)
a. Cautiously remove the adjusted
guide bar/high-speed steel blade
assembly from the gauge plate (X)
and place the heel of the guide bar
(W) into the groove in the drum (T).
b. Set the drum cover (S) over the
adjusted

steel blade assembly and securely
tighten the three star head screws
(R) to the drum.
4. Repeat procedure for the other blade.
NOTE: In order to use high-speed steel

blades with this planer, the sharpening

a. Loosen and remove the three star
