Safety instructions for use
CAUTION
Unsecured screw connections
Pinching, crushing, tipping over, falling of user due to assembly errors
X After all adjusting/readjusting work, retighten the mounting screws/nuts firmly� Observe any torque settings
which may be specified�
X Any time you loosen a screw connection with thread lock, replace it with a new screw connection or secure
the old screw connection with medium strength thread locker (e�g� Loctite® 241)�
CAUTION
Improper use of self-locking nuts
Tipping, falling over of the user due to screw connections coming loose
X Always replace self-locking nuts with new self-locking nuts after disassembly�
INFORMATION
The seat is intended for use with Ottobock mobility bases� Observe the safety information in the instructions for
use of the mobility base that is used�

Hazards during preparation for use
WARNING
Independent modification of settings
Serious injuries to the user due to unallowable changes to the product
X Do not modify the settings established by the qualified personnel� Only the settings described in the section
"Use" in these instructions for use may be adjusted independently�
X In case of problems with the settings (unsatisfactory seating position, front wheels wobble etc�) please con-
tact the qualified personnel who adjusted your product�
X Discuss all changes to the settings with the qualified personnel/therapist in advance in order to minimize
health hazards and avoid putting the therapy results at risk�
CAUTION
Use of unsuitable tools
Pinching, crushing or damaging the product due to use of unsuitable tools
X When completing the tasks, only use tools that are suitable for the conditions at the place of work and for
which safety and the protection of health are assured with proper use�
CAUTION
Improper assembly
Falling, tipping over of the user due to components coming off
X When attaching the seat, make sure that it engages securely into the mobility base�
NOTICE
Tipping or falling of the product
Damage to product due to lack of attachment
X When you work on the product, secure it so that it cannot tip over or fall down�
X Use a clamping fixture to secure the product whenever you work on it at a workbench�
