7 Operation
Switch on the unit
DMX operation:
Once the unit receives a signal from a DMX con-
troller, it is switched to DMX operation (indication of
the start address adjusted, e. g.
menu, adjust the DMX start address, the number of
DMX channels and, if required, the brightness of
the LEDs. For the functions and DMX values refer
to chapter 9.1.
Operation without DMX controller:
– If the unit is set to "Master", it is switched to the

7.1 Menu adjustments

The menu is operated via the four buttons (2):
1) Call the menu with the button MENU.
2) Select the desired menu item with the button UP
(or MENU) or DOWN and call it with the button
ENTER.
3) Select the desired adjustment with the button
UP or DOWN and confirm it with the button

ENTER.
For detailed information about the individual menu
items please refer to figs. 1 to 7.
The menu is automatically exited 15 s after the last
button has been pressed and the unit is switched
back to its present operating mode. (Exception:
must manually be stopped.) To exit the menu
immediately, keep the button MENU pressed until
the unit is switched back to its operating mode.

Note on the master/slave mode: When receiving a control
signal, a unit set to "master" in the menu is automatically
switched to the slave mode, however, its menu adjustment
remains "master". As this may lead to malfunctions (e. g. when
changing the show mode), units operated as slaves should
always be set to "slave" in the menu.
