3) To deactivate the continuous mode, disengage the
red button.
The continuous mode will take priority over the timer
mode, i. e. when the red button is pressed, the unit is
set to continuous mode even if the timer mode is acti-
vated with the button "Timer on/off" (20).

8.1.3 Timer mode

In the timer mode, the unit will automatically emit fog at
defined intervals.
1) To activate the timer mode, press the yellow button
"Timer on/off" (20) so that it will engage and the yel-
low LED (18) above the button will light up.
2) With the control "Duration" (14), adjust the duration
of each fog output (adjusting range: 1 to 10 sec-
onds).
With the control "Interval" (15), adjust the inter-
vals between the individual fog outputs (adjusting
range: 10 seconds to 3 minutes).
With the control "Output" (16), adjust the fog out-
put quantity from 0 – 100 %.
3) To deactivate the timer mode, disengage the yellow
button; the LED above it will be extinguished.
8.2 DMX mode
After completing the heating process (approx. 10 min-
utes after switching on), the fog machine is ready to
emit fog.
Hint: To visually indicate that the unit is ready to emit
fog, the remote control provided can be con-
nected to the 5-pole XLR jack (5) while the unit
is heating up: once the heating process is com-
pleted, the green LED (19) will light up. In this
case, the fog machine must not receive any
DMX signals while heating up, otherwise the
LED will not serve as a "ready-to-fog" indication,
but will flash continuously.
1) Switch on the DMX controller. Once DMX signals
are received, the DMX LED (8) will light up.
2) On the DMX controller, adjust the desired DMX
value for the channel used for activating the fog
machine.

9 Cleaning
For cleaning the outside of the unit, only use a dry, soft
cloth; never use chemicals or water which may get
inside the unit.
Due to the viscosity of the fog fluid and the high
vaporizing temperature, fog machines are susceptible
to clogging. After approx. 40 hours of operation, it is
therefore recommended to clean the unit with a fluid
consisting of 90 % distilled water and 10 % vinegar.
1) Disconnect the fog machine from the mains and
allow it to cool down sufficiently. (Caution: The
fog output nozzle will become very hot during oper-
ation!)
2) Unscrew the fog output nozzle by means of a suit-
able tool, then use vinegar to remove any deposits
on the nozzle.
3) Completely empty the tank.
4) Fill the tank with the cleaning fluid.
5) Operate the unit with the cleaning fluid in a suffi-
ciently ventilated environment until the tank is
empty.
6) Replace the nozzle.
7) Refill the unit with fog fluid and create fog for
approx. 3 minutes to remove any acid residues from
the unit.
