5) Turn up the control SENSITIVITY (5) for the sen-
sitivity of the microphone MIC (11) clockwise
until the light effect unit responds to the music as
desired. When changing the volume at the
music system, the microphone sensitivity must
be adapted accordingly. If the music control
should not function in an optimum way in spite of
the sensitivity control completely turned up,
increase the volume or reduce the distance
between sound source and light effect unit.

6.3 Master / slave mode

Several units LED-370RGBW may be operated in
sync. Then the first unit (master unit) controls the
remaining units (slave units). Connect the units
with each other in a chain. For this purpose see
chapter 7.1, however, without paying attention to
step 1.
Adjust the master unit (the first unit of the chain
whose control input is not connected) to automatic
mode or music control (
Adjust the slave units to the slave operation as fol-
lows:
1) Press the button ESC/MENU so many times
until the main menu is reached.
2) Select the option
button UP or DOWN.
3) Press the button ENTER: The slave operation is
activated, the display shows
the slave unit receives control signals from the

7 DMX Control

DMX is short for Digital Multiplex and allows the
digital control of several DMX units via a common
control line. For operation via a DMX controller
(e. g. DMX-1440 or DMX-510USB from "img Stage
Line") the light effect unit is equipped with 22 DMX
control channels. The functions of the channels
and the corresponding DMX values can be found in
the table on the next page.
7.1 Connection
As a DMX interface the unit is equipped with 3-pole
XLR connections with the following pin configura-
tion:
pin 1 = ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+

screening and a minimum cross section of 2 ×
0.22 mm 2 and with a capacity as low as possible

1) Connect the control input DMX IN (6) to the DMX
output of the light controller.

Connect its output again to the input of the fol-
lowing unit, etc. until all DMX-controlled units are
connected in a chain.
3) To prevent interferences in signal transmission,
for long cables or for a great number of units
connected in series, terminate the control output
of the last DMX unit of the chain with a 120 Ω
resistor (> 0.3 W): Connect a corresponding ter-
minating plug (e. g. DLT-123 from "img Stage
Line") to the output jack.

7.2 Adjusting the start address

For operating the unit with a light controller, adjust
the DMX start address for the first DMX channel of
the light effect unit. The following DMX channels
are then automatically assigned to the following
addresses. (For example, for start address 5 the
channels 2 to 22 are assigned to the addresses 6
to 26, address 27 would then be the next possible
free start address for the following DMX-controlled
unit.)
1) Press the button ESC/MENU so many times
until the main menu is reached.
2) Select the option
button UP or DOWN.
3) Press the button ENTER: The present address
adjusted, e. g.
4) Adjust the desired address with the button UP or
DOWN.
After adjusting the start address, the light effect unit
can be operated via the DMX controller. The recep-
tion of control signals will be displayed by a flash-
ing point.

8 Display of the firmware version

To indicate the version number of the firmware
(operating system of the light effect unit):
1) Press the button ESC/MENU so many times
until the main menu is reached.
2) Select the option
button UP or DOWN.
3) Press the button ENTER: The present version
number (e. g.
