The number of DMX channels depends on the
functions required and may also depend on the

number of control channels available on the light
controller. The functions available in the six chan-
nel modes can be found in chapter 9.
Then set the DMX start address (
For separate control of all DMX-controlled units,
each unit must have its own start address. Exam-
ple: If the first DMX channel of the RGBL-430DMX
is to be controlled by the DMX controller via DMX
address 17, set the start address on the RGBL-
430DMX to 17. All other DMX channels of the
RGBL-430DMX will be automatically assigned to
, the pro-
the subsequent addresses.
Example: When the 7-channel mode is adjusted and the
start address is 17, the channels 1 to 7 will be assigned
to the addresses 17 to 23. Address 24 will be the next
possible start address available for the subsequent
DMX-controlled unit.

The brightness of red, green, blue, white and
amber can be separately adjusted from 0 – 100 %.
Note: The settings of these menu items will affect all oper-
ating modes (
tings, however, will only apply to this unit; they will not
apply to any slave units connected.
For operation without DMX controller, these menu
items can be used to set the light effect unit to a
desired lighting colour. For DMX control, these
menu items can be used to correct the colour bal-
ance; thus, the lighting colour of the unit can be
matched to the lighting colour of other units when
different light effect units are used.
