13. To remove the tray, pull the two locking handles in an outward
direction and lift the tray (diagram 13).
RECLINING BACKREST ADJUSTMENT
The backrest of the highchair can be reclined to 3 positions
14. To adjust the backrest pull the lever placed at the rear of the
highchair in an upward direction, recline the backrest to the de-
sired position and release the lever; the backrest is automatically
blocked: you will hear a click indicating that the backrest is safely
locked. This operation may also be carried out with the child sitting
in the highchair, although the child's weight can make it more dif-
ficult (diagram 14).
CLOSING THE HIGHCHAIR
WARNING: When opening the highchair, ensure that your child,
or other children, are at a safe distance. Ensure that during these
operations the movable parts of the highchair do not come into
contact with your child.
15. After placing the backrest in a vertical position, by holding the
two lateral carters, press the release buttons (diagram 15A), while
pushing the backrest in a backward direction with your thumbs
(diagram 15B).
16. Close the highchair legs by keeping a foot on the rear base of
the frame (diagram 16A). When closed, the highchair stands on its
own.
Accessory: HYGIENIC SEAT COVER (optional, not included
in the price)
The hygienic seat cover can only be used over the normal highchair
cover. WARNING: Do not use the hygienic seat cover without the
highchair cover.
To fit / remove the hygienic seat cover from the highchair, follow
the same instructions given for the highchair cover, contained in
the paragraph "Cleaning and Maintenance".
