TROUBLESHOOTING
ENGINE DOES NOT START
ENGINE DOES NOT RUN CONSTANTLY AT NO LOAD
ENGINE DOES NOT ACCELERATE
ENGINE HAS NO POWER OR STOPS DURING CUTTING
CUTTING HEAD DOES RELEASE LINE
REMEDIAL ACTION
Set switch to ON
Fill fuel tank
Slowly and fully depress the intake pump 10 times
On appliances with a choke lever:
Implement the starting process with the choke lever in the
operating position
On appliances without a choke lever:
Press the throttle and pull the starter cable.
Empty the tank / fill with fresh fuel mixture
Replace or clean spark plug
REMEDIAL ACTION
Clean or replace air filter
Empty the tank / fill with fresh fuel mixture
Have carburettor adjusted by customer service personnel
REMEDIAL ACTION
Empty the tank / fill with fresh fuel mixture
Have carburettor adjusted by customer service personnel
REMEDIAL ACTION
Stop the engine and clean the cutting attachment
Clean or replace air filter
Empty the tank / fill with fresh fuel mixture
Have carburettor adjusted by customer service personnel

Stop the engine and clean the cutting attachment
Wind up new line
Replace coil
Clean coil and coil housing
Pull apart, take out the fused part and wind up the line again
Pull apart and wind up the line again
Tap the bump head and pull out the line until 10 cm of line is
outside the cutting attachment
