Important for U. K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accord ance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol , or coloured green or green and yel-
low.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.

If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.
3 Applications
The laser effect unit projects a variety of red and
green patterns of light spots onto a surface or into
an artificial fog. It can be used e. g. on stage or in
discotheques.
The laser unit is designed for control via a DMX
light controller (8 DMX control channels). However,
it can also be operated on its own, by music control
via the integrated microphone or by creating differ-
ent patterns of light spots via two light show pro-
grammes.
4 Mounting and Setting into Operation
The laser must safely be mounted in an expert way.
The person who sets up the unit together with all
additional components (e. g. mirror, lenses, projec-
tion surface) to create a laser system, becomes the
legitimate manufacturer of this system. Observe in
any case the warning notes in chapter 2.1.
WARNING 1. According to international safety
regulations the laser must be
installed so that the laser beam
has a minimum distance of 3 m to
the floor when persons stand or sit
under the beam (fig. 2). However, the unit can also
be installed so that in the horizontal plane the
laser beam keeps a minimum distance of 2.5 m to
persons (fig. 3).
2. As the safety regulations are different in each
country, the regulations of the country where
the unit will be operated must be observed in
any case.
3. Select the mounting location so that a sufficient
air circulation will be ensured during operation.
The unit must have a minimum distance of
50 cm to adjoining surfaces and the air vents at
the housing must not be covered in any case.
4. If the laser is installed at a place where people
may stand or sit under, it must additionally be
secured, e. g. by a safety rope. Lead the safety
rope through the safety lug (8) and fix it so that
the maximum falling distance of the unit does
not exceed 20 cm.
1) Tightly screw the laser with the mounting
bracket (3) to a suitable place, e. g. with a stable
mounting screw or a support for lighting units
(C hook) at a cross bar.
2) To align the unit, release the two setscrews (1)
at the mounting bracket. Adjust the desired incli-
nation of the unit and retighten the screws.
3) Connect the supplied mains cable to the mains
jack (12) first and then to a socket (230 V~ /
50 Hz).
4) Switch on the laser with the switch (10) on the
rear side. The red LED POWER (4) lights up as
a power indication.
5) To switch on the laser beams, insert the supplied
key in the lock of the switch LOCK (6) and turn
the key to the right.
IMPORTANT! The laser system must not be
operated without the presence of a laser pro-
tection adviser. In case of absence, this advi-
sor should have secured the laser with the key
switch against unauthorized operation.
