Control (ON/OFF, dimming value) is effected via the EIB
bus line or via conventional switches (2020 US, 2021/6 UK);
any number of switches can be connected per extension
input.
The extension pushbutton is connected to the control
module, not to the dimmer.
It is possible to distribute the load of the dimmers over
several phases; take into account national regulations and
standards in this regard.
NOTE
Control module 6197/11-102-500, together with one/
several downstream dimmers, is to be seen as one
unit. The connecting lines between dimmer and control
module 6197/11-102-500 (D1 or D2 and D) must be as
short as possible.
