STORAGE
If the appliance is not used for long periods, unplug it from the
mains socket, clean the boiler. Protect parts which might be
damaged by dust. Empty the water and cleaning solution tanks
via the relative drainage bungs. Rinse the cleaning product
delivery circuit using clean water (fig. 10).
When used again, check there are no cracks or cuts in the
vacuum and solution/steam emission tubes and attachments.
SCRAPPING
If you decide to stop using the steam generator, you should
render it inoperative by removing the electric power cable. Parts
which might constitute a danger, especially to children playing
with the appliance, should be made harmless.
The steam generator is classified as special waste. It must be
taken apart and divided into uniform sections which should be
disposed off according to current legislation.
Do not use the components removed as spare parts.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The appliance does not work.
Cause
No voltage.
Faulty cable or mains switch.
Remedy
Make sure there is voltage.
Contact the service centre.
Problem
No chemical product delivered
Cause
Solution tank empty.
Attachments dirty or clogged.
Pump does not suck.
Damaged delivery pump.
Remedy
Fill the solution tank with cleaning product and empty the col-
lection drum.

Problem
No steam is being delivered.
Cause
Boiler not yet up to pressure ("E" indicator light out).
No voltage.
When the water tank is empty, the light "D" comes on when the
steam switch is operated.
Steam switch not activated.
Remedy
Wait a couple of minutes until the "E" light on the panel goes out.
If the problem persists, contact the service centre.
Check there is voltage. Check the appliance is plugged in
correctly.
Add clean water to the water tank.
Make sure the switches are activated.
Problem
No steam is delivered and the pump continues to work.
Cause
Air has got into the boiler feed circuit.
The water filter of recharge pump is clogged.
Remedy
Avoid waves in the water in the tank. Make sure the intake is
below the level of the water.
Clean the water filter placed at the recharge pump inlet
Reset normal washing cycle.
If the problem persists, contact the service centre.
Problem
Drops of water are discharged from the attachments.
Cause
For the first few minutes of use, it is normal for condensation to
form due to the difference in temperature between the attach-
ment and the steam.
Remedy
After several minutes use, the problem will be resolved auto-
matically. If it persists, clean boiler.
