2.8 Obligations of the system owner

• Perform a risk assessment in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12100 before initial
commissioning or recommissioning of a case lifter.
• Instruct operating personnel on safety before initial commissioning or
recommissioning and afterwards regularly.

2.9 Safety equipment

Make sure that all safety equipment belonging to the product is present, has been
installed properly, and is fully functional. Do not modify the position of, bypass, or
disable the safety equipment.
