We recommend raising the lift high enough to easily
access the parts under the vehicle's body and
providing suffi cient space to perform such operations
in the standing position.
•
In the event of skin contact with the hydraulic system
oil, we recommend washing with plenty of water and
soap.
•
We recommend always contacting the Manufacturer
in case of malfunction - do not try to solve the problem
by yourself.
•
The operation of the lift is permitted only with the
accessories expressly provided by the Manufacturer.
2.6 SAFE MAINTENANCE
To ensure safe maintenance of the PONYBENCH-B, the
following instructions must be followed:
•
The removal or tampering with the safety devices is
prohibited.
•
The welding, torch or machine cutting or drilling of
holes into the lift structure is prohibited.
•
Never operate the lift even when only one safety sign
is missing from the place where it was affi xed by the
manufacturer.
The safety or danger signs and the capacity table
fi tted on the lift provide basic accident- prevention
instructions. These signs and the table must always
be kept clean and replaced immediately when they
come off, even partially, or are damaged.
•
Always disconnect the electrical and/or pneumatic
power
supply
beforecarrying
maintenance operations on the lift.
•
Always remember to periodically check the tightening
and seal of the screws and couplings.
•
Always use the recommended oils.
•
Always remember to periodically check that the safety
devices are in perfect condition and work effi ciently.
•
Always remember that maintenance work must be
carried out on the liftonly by qualifi ed and skilled
personnel with all due care by following the instructions
given in this manual and replacing damaged or worn
parts.
•
Lifting and movement operations for lift parts or organs
must be performed by following the procedures and
using the lifting and slinging accessories prescribed
by the regulations in force in the country of operation
•
Always completely remove all traces of oil from
the fl oor as soon as they are noticed because they
constitute a dangerous risk of fall.
•
Always use original spare parts for repairs and
maintenance.
•
We recommend learning the instruction manual and
keeping it within easy reach for the entire working life
of the lift.
