Unscrew the cap [1] from the back of the camera.

Push the battery compartment lid [9] downwards to open the battery
compartment.
4.
Insert 2 new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (LR6, not incl.) in accordance
with the polarity markings. Only use batteries of the same type and
brand.
5.
Close the battery compartment.
6.
Screw the cap [1] back onto the back of the camera.
7.2 Switching on and off
To switch the camera on, press and hold the power button
2 seconds. You hear a beep and the display lights up.
The display shows the remaining time for video recording in hours and
minutes.
Note: If the memory card is full, or if there is no memory card in the
camera, the display shows "FULL".
To switch the camera off, press and hold the power button
2 seconds. The display shows "OFF" and you hear a beep. The camera shuts
off after 1 second.
7.3 Memory card
Recommendations
•
As the camera records in high definition, use a memory card of at least
8 GB (16 or 32 GB recommended).
•
Use high-speed SD cards for best performance and quality.
•
Format the memory card before use.
Inserting a memory card
1.
Make sure the camera is switched off.
2.
Unscrew the cap [1] from the back of the camera.
3.
Insert an SD card (not included) in the card slot [7]. Push it in until it
clicks into place.
4.
To remove the SD card again, push the card gently so that it pops out.
5.
Screw the cap [1] back onto the back of the camera.
Formatting a memory card
Caution: Formatting erases all data from the card. If necessary, connect
the camera to a pc to back up the data before formatting.
1.
Make sure the camera is switched off.
2.
Insert the memory card in the card slot [7].
3.
Switch the camera on.
4.
Press the record button
The display shows "FOR" (for "formatting').
