tion is used.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vib-
rations if the equipment is used over a pro-
longed period or is not properly guided and
maintained.
Limit the time it takes to fi nish the job.
When considering the total time, all steps in the
job cycle need to be taken into account (for ex-
ample, times in which electric tools are switched
off and times in which tools are switched on but
not doing any work, i.e. when they are running
without a load).

5. Before starting the equipment

Be sure to read the following information before
you start using the cordless impact drill:
1. Charge the battery pack with the charger sup-
plied.
2. Only use screwdriver bits that are suited to
the task and in perfect condition.
3. Before you begin screwing into walls and
masonry, check for concealed electric wiring,
gas pipes and water pipes.
Note:
The screwdriver is equipped with a jaw clutch.
The spindle will only start to rotate once the screw
is pushed into the workpiece.

6. Operation

6.1 Charging the Li battery pack (Figs. 2-3)
1. Remove the battery pack (7) from the hand-
le. To do this, press the pushlock button (8)
downward.
2. Check that your mains voltage matches
the voltage shown on the rating plate of the
battery charger. Insert the power plug of the
charger (11) into the socket outlet. The green
LED will start to fl ash.
3. Push the battery pack onto the battery char-
ger.
Section 10 (Charger indicator) includes a table
with explanations of what the LED indicators on
the charger mean.
