Diagnostic mode

Diagnostic mode A
The first mode allows you to check all the electrical connections, inclusive control unit,
brake and, if installed, the clutch switch. To start the diagnostic mode A, switch on the
ignition while pressing down the SET button. You will hear an acoustic signal as a
confirmation that you are in test mode A, and the LED on the control unit lights up. Now
release the SET button. If you should hear a further acoustic signal within one second,
then it can be assumed that a further signal input is switched. If this is the case, check
the cable connections again. Check all control inputs by activating the SET button, RES
button, brake and clutch switch. You must receive an acoustic and visual signal as a
confirmation when activating. If this is not the case, check the respective input again.
Diagnostic mode B
When test A has been successfully completed, proceed to test B. In this mode, the func-
tion of the servo can be checked. Apply first the hand brake and move the gearshift into
neutral or the automatic gearshift into park. Start the vehicle with the remote control SET
button pressed down. Release the SET button when the engine is running. Switch off the
cruise control via the ON/OFF-button. Now a green light appears on the LED display of
the ON/OFF button. Now press the SET button. The engine speed should slowly increase.
Now press the RES button. The engine speed should slowly decrease. The cruise control
is switched off by activating the brake or clutch switch. Switch off the ignition to leave the
diagnostic mode.
Diagnostic mode C
The third test is used to check the cruise signal or speed signal. To start the diagnostic
mode, start the vehicle with the remote control SET button pressed down. Release the
SET button when the engine is running. Now you can check the input of cruise or speed
signal while driving the vehicle. Drive the vehicle at a speed of approx. 50 km/h. The LED
in the control unit should now flash once per second and you should receive an acoustic
signal per second. Stop the vehicle and switch off
ignition to leave the diagnostic mode.

Battery change

The control is equipped with a battery status display. When pressing the SET or RES
button, the LED lights up to show that the battery must be replaced (see
K).
