Information on set-up and use of the appliance
20. Never touch the appliance or power cord with wet hands.
21. For safety reasons, never place the appliance on hot surfaces,
a metal tray or a wet substrate. Do not place the appliance or
power cord near open flames during operation.
22. Always use the slow juicer on a level, uncluttered surface.
23. Do not operate or store the slow juicer outdoors.
24. Use the appliance only after it has been properly assembled.
25. Do not switch on the appliance if the feed hopper is loose.
26. Only use the included tamper to fill the appliance. For safety
reasons, ensure that hands, hair, articles of clothing or other
utensils do not get into the feed shaft of the slow juicer.
27. The motor must come to a complete standstill before you can
take off the moving parts.
28. To avoid damage, do not use the appliance with accessories of
other manufacturers or brands.
29. Do not operate the appliance if the micro sieve is damaged!
30. The appliance must only be used to extract juice from fruit/veg-
etables or soy beans.
31. Do not switch on the appliance if the feed hopper has not been
properly mounted or if it is loose.
32. Do not turn the appliance upside down or take it apart if it is in
operation.
33. If the juice extractor auger jams due to produce residues, and
no longer turns, switch to "R" for 2 to 3 seconds to remove the
jam.
34. Always lift the appliance with both hands.
35. The short operating time is 20 minutes, this means that after
20 minutes the appliance must be switched off so that it can
cool down.
