A
 Make sure that lead acid batteries are placed in a well
ventilated area during charging.
 Only use rechargeable batteries.
 Prevent any metal parts from falling on the battery.
This can cause sparks or short-circuit the battery and
other electrical parts.
 Make sure the polarity is correct when connecting the
battery.
 Follow the instructions of the battery manufacturer
and those of the manufacturer of the system or vehi-
cle in which the battery is used.
 If you need to remove the battery, first disconnect the
earth connection. Disconnect all connections and all
consumers from the battery before removing it.
