Before use

Read the instruction manual carefully. It contains important information about the use, safety and
care of the appliance. It should be kept in a safe place and passed on to subsequent users if necessary.
The appliance may only be used for the intended purpose according to these operating instructions.
Observe the safety information when using the appliance.

Additional safety information
You must always first insert the control unit into the appliance before you connect the mains
plug to a socket.
Only use the control unit supplied.
Make sure that the inside of the holder is completely dry before you connect the control unit.
Place the appliance on a level and firm surface and ensure there is sufficient space all the way
around the appliance.
Make sure that the drip tray is always correctly inserted during grilling.
Always pre-heat the grill plate before you place food on it.
Attention: When the appliance is switched on, its touchable surfaces can get very hot and
they also remain hot even after the appliance has been switched off!
Fat can spray out randomly when grilling. Therefore protect the table surface accordingly.
Always switch the appliance off after use and pull the mains plug out of the socket before
you remove the control unit from the holder.
Allow the appliance to cool down fully before you remove the plate, clean the appliance and
put it away.
Make sure that the grill plate is always repositioned correctly after it has been removed.
Use
You can cook lots of delicious food on the table-top grill. It is ideal for grilling food such as meat,
vegetables and fish.

Safety function

The table-top grill has a built-in safety function. The grill plate (1) must be positioned on the
appliance otherwise the control unit (5) cannot be inserted.

Setting up and connecting

▪ Remove all packaging from the appliance.
Make sure to remove also the protective sheet of plastic on the four corners of the grill plate.
▪ Clean the appliance (see chapter "Cleaning and care").
▪ Set up the appliance on a stable and level surface near to a plug socket.
