Switching off rear sensors
(Only if optional cancellation switch is installed)
In case of using a trailer, the cancellation switch (optional) has to be turned "OFF" to avoid
continuous detection of the trailer during reverse.
The cancellation switch (optional) is installed in the trunk of the vehicle.
CAUTION
Always approach an obstacle slowly (at less than 5 km/h) and be ready to press the
brake pedal quickly.
CAUTION
When the signal changes from intermittent beeps to a continuous beep, stop the
vehicle immediately.
CAUTION
If the sensors are already too close to an object, they may not be able to detect it.
D. PRECAUTIONS
– Do not allow the sensor to be subjected to impact.
– Do not use a powerful jet spray on the sensors.
E. TROUBLESHOOTING
The flow chart shown on the following page will assist you in determining whether or not
a malfunction is in fact a system error. If the system still fails to operate after you have
carried out the instructions in the flow chart, please contact your installer
