5. Before starting the equipment

5.1 Assembly of the blow pipe (Fig. 2-3)
Push the flexible blower hose (Fig. 2/Item 12) over the
connection to the motor unit and tighten and secure
the hose clamp (Fig. 2/Item A).
Push the handle (Fig. 2a/Item 1) over the blow pipe
(Fig. 2a/Item 13). Align the handle (Fig. 2b/Item 1)
and the stop (Fig 2b/Item B) as shown in Fig. 2b and
screw the handle securely into position. Bring the
flexible ring (Fig. 2b/item C) into the middle position
so that it is the same distance away from the stop (B)
on both the left and the right side. Now push the
upper blow pipe (Fig. 2b/Item 13) into the flexible
blow hose (Fig. 2b/ Item 12) and secure it with the
hose clamp (Fig. 2b/Item D).
Push the lower blow pipe (Fig. 3/Item 14) over the
upper blow pipe (Fig.3/Item 13) and lock it into place
by turning it clockwise.
Either the blow nozzle with the larger or the smaller
aperture can be attached. The blow nozzles can
simply be pushed over the lower blow pipe and
locked into place by turning clockwise. .

5.2 Fuel and oil

Recommended fuels
Use only a mixture of normal unleaded petrol and
special 2-stroke engine oil. Mix the fuel mixture as
indicated on the fuel mixing table.
Please note: Do not use a fuel mixture which has
been kept for longer than 90 days.
Please note: Do not use 2-stroke oil with a
recommended mixing ration of 100:1. If inadequate
lubrication causes engine damage, the
manufacturer's engine warranty will be voided.
Please note: Only use containers designed and
approved for the purpose to transport and store fuel.
Pour the correct quantities of petrol and 2-stroke oil
into the mixing bottle (see scale printed on the bottle).
Then shake the bottle well.

NOTE: If engine fails to start after repeated attempts,
refer to Troubleshooting section.
NOTE: Always pull starter rope straight out. Pulling
starter at an angle will cause rope to rub against the
eyelet. This friction will cause the rope to fray and
wear more quickly. Always hold starter handle when
rope retracts. Never allow rope to snap back from
extended position. This could cause rope to snag or
fray and also damage the starter assembly.
