Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause
Either the switch on the controller or the car is set to OFF.
Car does not move
There is no rechargeable battery in the car or the battery is too weak.
The overheat protection has caused the car's motor to cut out due to
excess temperature.
The battery or rechargeable battery in the transmitter or model is too
weak.
The vehicle is very warm.
Vehicle starts moving unintentionally.

The 2.4 GHz controller is suitable for
left- or right-handers and can be
adjusted as necessary by unscrewing
and refixing the steering unit accord-
ingly.
Function can be changed by
remounting the steering unit
To remount, unsrew the three screws on
the inside of the steering unit and screw
them to the opposite side.
Remove the cover plate from the other
side and mount the steering wheel to
the opposite side. Insert and tighten the
three inner screws again. Finished!
Light on/off
Press the upper button on the controls
to switch the light on and off.
On / offroad mode
Press the middle button on the control
unit to activate the On/Offroad modes.
Can also be operated while the car is in
motion.
THTRIMM
Fine speed regulation
Here you can adjust the braking effect on
your vehicle.
These settings can only be saved via the
display menu, otherwise the settings will
only be retained until the next time the
controller is switched off.

Fine steering adjustment
If the vehicle does not run in a straight
line, you can make fine steering adjust-
ments here.

Solution
Switch on.
Insert charged battery.
Switch off the receiver.
Leave the RC car to cool down for approx. 30 minutes.
Insert new battery or recharged battery.
Switch both car and controller off and allow the car to cool down for
about 30 minutes.
First turn on the transmitter, only then the vehicle.

Stopwatch
When the controller is switched on, the
stop-watch appears. You can start and
stop the stop-watch by pressing the
little wheel on the display. Pressing the
wheel for a long time resets the stop-
watch to zero. Press for 3 seconds to
get into the sub-menu.
LAP = lap number
By turning the little wheel, here you can
alter the number of laps to be run in a
race. To record lap data, an accessory
available separately, the Carrera RC
Lap Counter (8000025) is needed.
Time runs
or timed countdown. By turning the
small wheel you can select the required
time. Press for 3 seconds and the
countdown to the time run starts with
ten seconds warning.
SP = TH trim = front / rear trimming
You can set a positive or negative trim
either by turning the little wheel under
the display or by pressing the TH-trim
button on the side. To store the setting,
press the little wheel for 3 seconds.
AL = ST trim = left / right trimming
You can set a positive or negative trim
either by turning the little wheel under
the display or by pressing the ST-trim
button on the side. To store the setting,
press the little wheel for 3 seconds.
