1 Introduction
The METTLER TOLEDO Fieldbus-Modules allow to connect METTLER TOLEDO weigh modules to an industrial
Fieldbus network and make it possible to control the weighing sensor with a PLC master. For each weighing
sensor is a separate Fieldbus-Module required.
The following Fieldbus-Modules are currently available:

METTLER TOLEDO DeviceNet-Module
METTLER TOLEDO EtherNet/IP-Module
METTLER TOLEDO ProfiNet IO-Module
METTLER TOLEDO CC-Link Module

2 Installation and Putting into Operation

2.1 Installation and configuration

To install and configure the Fieldbus-Module proceed as follows:
1 Configure the weighing sensor.
2 Mount the DIN-Rail.
3 Connect the Fieldbus-Module to a PC for initial configuration.
4 Connect the Fieldbus-Module to the weighing sensor.
5 Connect the Fieldbus-Module to a power supply.
6 Configure the Fieldbus-Module and activate the changes in the Fieldbus-Module.
7 Connect the Fieldbus-Module to the Network and check the LED indications.

2.2 Connecting to power supply

The power supply connector is located at the bottom of the Fieldbus-Module.
Pin Description
1 + 24V DC +/- 10%, 280mA max.
2 GND
An appropriate connector with screw terminals is included in the delivery (connector type MSTB 2.5/2-
ST-5.08). The appropriate cable diameter ranges from 0.2 mm
