During installation, the ANCHOR CABLE is looped around the
structure and closed using an EN 362-certified carabiner.
The ANCHOR CABLE can also be used as a single strand to
extend an anchor point, whereby a carabiner with a corresponding
EN 362-certified load rating must be used. However, the cable is
not a lanyard and is not certified as such. The fall-arrest system or
lanyard is fastened to one of the two eyelets on the cable or the
O-ring using the fixings provided for this purpose. If it is not possible
to anchor to these using eyelets constructed from thimbles on the
cable ends (through loops) or to the O-ring, the connecting
carabiner can be used as the attachment point. In this case,
dynamic movements, such as pulling the cable, must be avoided to
prevent the connecting carabiner from unscrewing.
2.4) ANCHOR CABLE L-0002-X-O-L (X=length)
The ANCHOR CABLE has been type-tested in its various lengths in
accordance with EN 795/B for use by one person, and also tested
for use by three people in accordance with CEN/TS 16415.
The maximum test load is: 22.2kN

2.4.1) Installation:
In accordance with the maximum test load of the ANCHOR CABLE,
the structure to which the cable is attached must be able to support
a load of at least 9 kN.
In any case, it must be ensured that the cable is not attached
to any "open" structure (such as the end of a steel girder) from
which it could slip out under load.
