During installation, the ANCHOR CABLE is looped around the
structure and closed using an EN 362-certified carabiner.
The ANCHOR CABLE can also be used as a single strand to
extend an anchor point, whereby a carabiner with a corresponding
EN 362-certified load rating must be used. However, the cable is
not a lanyard and is not certified as such.
The fall-arrest system or lanyard is fastened to one of the two
eyelets on the cable using the fixings provided for this purpose.
If it is not possible to anchor to these by means of eyelets
constructed from thimbles on the cable ends (through loops), the
connecting carabiner can be used as the anchor point. In this case,
dynamic movements, such as pulling the cable, must be avoided to
prevent the connecting carabiner from unscrewing.
