5.1 • Installation
The Cbase
can be mounted to a wall by means of 4 screws in the integrated mounting holes at
®
the base of the ventilation unit.
• The appliance can be mounted with the appropriate screws for the designated surface.
Preferably mount the system vibration-free and to a solid wall with a minimal mass of
100Kg/m². Preferably use vibration-cancelling material between the unit and the wall.
The appliance has to be level when mounted to a wall.
5.2 • Installing the Cbase
• Choose a spot for the ventilation system in a technical room or somewhere else (near the roof
or wall outlet), where you can easily connect de ductwork to the ventilation system.
• Exhaust duct ø150 mm, limited to 3m in a house.
• Avoid too many bends when installing the ventilation ducts.
• Preferably install the ventilation system in the attic, above the 'wet rooms' such as bathrooms,
toilets,... Do not install the system directly above a bedroom in order to limit possible noise
transference.
• Position the ventilation system central to the rooms that need to be ventilated, so that the duct
lengths are spread as homogeneously as possible.
• Supply ducts are min. in ø80 mm, use ø125 mm for airflows > 50 m
