Troubleshooting
The Appliance is not Working
Remedy:
• Check the mains connection.
• Check the position of the on / off switch.
• Check the position of the thermostat.
Other Possible Causes:
The appliance is fitted with a safety switch (6).
This prevents the heater being switched on accidentally.
Remedy:
Check that the control element is correctly in place.
Overheating Protection
If the oil gets too hot, the appliance's overheating protection
will automatically kick in. The appliance is no longer ready
to be used.
1. Unplug the deep fryer.
2. Only after the appliance has been left to cool down
completely should the "RESTART" button (7) on the rear
of the control element be operated in order to use the
deep fat fryer again. For this you should use a plastic or
wooden object that is the least 4 cm long.
