9. Apply detergent to a dry surface, starting at lower
portion of area to be washed and work upward, using
long, even, overlapping strokes.
10. Allow detergent to "soak in" for 3-5 minutes before
washing and rinsing. Reapply as needed to prevent
surface from drying. DO NOTallow detergent to dry on
(prevents streaking).
Pressure Washer Rinsing
For Rinsing:
1. Turn detergent shut-off valve to "Off" position.
2. Remove black spray tip from nozzle extension.
3. Select and install desired high pressure spray tip
following instructions How to Use Spray Tips.
4. Keep spray gun a safe distance from area you plan to
spray.

• Operate pressure washerfrom a stablesurface.
• Beextremely carefulif you mustusethe pressure washerfrom
a ladder,scaffolding,or anyothersimilarlocation.
• Firmlygraspspraygun with bothhandswhen usinghigh
pressuresprayto avoidinjurywhenspraygun kicks back.
5. Apply a high pressurespray to a small area and then
check surfacefor damage. If no damage is found, you
can assume it is okay to continue rinsing.
6. Start at top of area to be rinsed, working down with same
overlappingstrokes as you used for cleaning.
AutomaticCool DownSystem(Thermal Relief)
If you run the engine on your pressure washer for
3-5 minutes without pressing the trigger on the spray gun,
circulating water in the pump can reachtemperatures above
125°F (51°C). The system engagesto cool the pump by
dischargingthe warm water ontothe ground.
