Safety Inspection
If there is any indication that safe operation
of the balance with the AC adapter is no longer
warranted:
Turn off the power and disconnect the equipment
from AC power immediately
> Lock the equipment in a secure place to ensure that
it cannot be used for the time being
In any of this cases, notify your KERN service
center. Maintenance and repair work may only
be performed by service technicians who are
authorized by KERN and who
– have access to the required maintenance manuals
– have attended the relevant service training courses

Instructions for Recycling

To ensure adequate protection for safe shipment,
your balance has been packaged to the extent
necessary using environmentally friendly materials.
After successful installation of the balance, you
should return this packaging for recycling because
it is a valuable source of secondary raw material.
For information on recycling options, including
recycling of old weighing equipment, contact your
municipal waste disposal center or local recycling
depot.
